After 3 weeks in Valladolid, where I’ve tried various places that others have claimed have the best tacos, I can confidently say that this place has the best tacos! I ordered the garlic shrimp tacos, and they might even be the best shrimp tacos I’ve had in my lifetime

Carpe Diem is a charming little restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their horchata is fantastic, the taco de cochinita is absolutely amazing, and the staff is incredibly kind. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, savor superb food, and enjoy a truly delightful experience.
GREAT fresh food and friendly people! This place did not disappoint. Especially if you want a slight diversion from the traditional Yucatecan offerings. The garlic shrimp tacos were SO GOOD. The Guacamole was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The strawberry,lemon and mint juice was very refreshing. Support his small family owned shop! One downside to note...the space is small and warm.

Gorgeous place run by a local family. Really friendly service and delicious food. We enjoyed the pork tacos and garlic shrimp tacos, as well as guacamole and fresh juices and horchata. Definitely recommend! There are only a few tables so it is an intimate, enjoyable experience.
Stopped by for a late lunch and absolutely loved it. It is a small independent restaurant with really good food. We shared the shrimp tacos and pasta and they were delicious. Staff were lovely and turned fans on for us to cool down.
Nice little quiet spot for lunch. Small menu but they do it well if the tacos are anything to go by. Some of my favourite so far in Mexico. And the spicy sauce was a very nice addition
